Corey Lohnes, PhD joined Grant Cooper following six years of experience in clinical research and business development with Washington University in St. Louis. Following his PhD in Biocontrol, Corey served as a Licensing Associate with Washington University’s Office of Technology Management. Corey’s licensing and intellectual property expertise centered on biomedical and pharmaceutical partnerships with companies ranging from start-ups to multinational biotechs.
Corey’s executive search experience includes clinical and scientific leaders for clients ranging from academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, cancer centers, children’s hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies. Corey’s specific knowledge and expertise regarding grant mechanisms, translational and clinical science, integrated clinical research programs, and academic science adds unique value to Grant Cooper’s focused physician, physician-investigator, and scientist leadership recruitment.
Since joining Grant Cooper, Corey has successfully led searches for the Vice Chair for Translational Research for an academic clinical department, the Director of Biomedical Informatics for an academic medical center, the Medical Director of Accountable Care for a children’s health system, and multiple pharmaceutical Vice Presidents of Research and Development.
