Lee Health oncology services are available at the Regional Cancer Center, a comprehensive program designed to coordinate all aspects of care. The Regional Cancer Center consists of two primary areas: Inpatient Services at Gulf Coast Medical Center and Outpatient Services at The Sanctuary.

Position Overview

The Vice President, Oncology Services is responsible for establishing the vision and strategic direction for cancer services in partnership with the Regional Cancer Center Medical Director. He/she collaborates with other organizational leaders and medical staff in designing and providing progressive and innovative strategies to assure quality programs and financial success.

The Vice President of Oncology Services will provide executive level operational leadership including but not necessarily limited to medical oncology, radiation oncology, infusion center, research and surgical oncology operations. This leader will collaborate with the leadership of LPG employed physicians in the strategic growth and development of services provided through the Regional Cancer Center.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or other Healthcare related field and/or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of five year’s previous experience in an oncology senior management role within an integrated system.
  • Knowledge of current approaches to the delivery of cancer care.
  • Ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve the delivery of cancer care.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
