Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Memorial Hermann Physician Network (MHMD) and MHMD ACO, this senior level position serves to function as a clinical liaison and co-architect leading the development of network health management, clinical integration, strategies, and operational capabilities. The SVP/CMO will focus on a model of care that advances health and enhances reimbursement through value-based purchasing and shared risk opportunities. The SVP/CMO also assists with assessing, developing, and implementing quality data systems for network health management. Key organizational factors include, 450k+ covered lives; large clinically integrated network with independent, employed, and academic physicians; 350+ patient-centered medical home physicians; leading accountable network.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Medicine from an Accredited Medical School.
  • Minimum fifteen years of physician leadership plus participation in a physician leadership course.
  • Active license to practice medicine in the State of Texas, or ability to obtain Texas state license.
  • Experience in IPA management, managed care, network contracting.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of clinical protocols and utilization management/quality assurance.
