Connecticut Children’s Specialty Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the senior leader is responsible for optimizing the clinical and financial performance, as well as the contribution to Connecticut Children’s organizational goals, strategy, vision, and mission. Must be able to synthesize various priorities of internal constituencies, demands of external stakeholders and customers, and environmental drivers to lead and direct the overall short term direction and long-term focus of the Group.

This requires forming effective working relationships with all formal Group medical leaders, informal Group opinion leaders, and key performers, other Group senior administrative staff and a wide array of Hospital administrative leaders and staff.

Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Five or more years of senior administrative experience in an integrated group practice setting.
