JenCare Neighborhood Medical Centers (JenCare) is an integrated healthcare provider with 26 locations (and growing) in five states. In order to increase quality and reduce the cost of care, JenCare assumes global-risk for its entire population of Medicare Advantage members by leveraging its proprietary processes and technologies. JenCare’s model allows physicians to focus on the patient more than the schedule. JenCare primary care providers manage a targeted patient panel of less than 400 patients per physician, enabling a greater emphasis on the physician/patient relationship, preventative care, and stronger care coordination for chronic conditions. The Market Chief Medical Officer (Market CMO) oversees one of six regions within the JenCare system. This role is responsible for the overall medical spend within a JenCare region, and directly leads all JenCare physicians at multiple JenCare Neighborhood Medical Center clinic locations. The Market CMO is accountable for maximizing overall clinical value while engaging physicians to improve clinical quality, efficiency, physician/patient satisfaction, and strategic business objectives. The Market CMO will provide some direct clinical care, but will primarily focus on guiding a team of physician leaders in order to accomplish market objectives.
- Five plus years of clinical care experience, with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Geriatrics.
- Minimum two to five years of physician leadership experience in the ambulatory or managed care setting.
- Leadership background in PCMH, ACO, global-risk arrangement, staff-model HMO, or PACE program would be ideal.
