Position Overview

Nationally recognized pediatric healthcare provider Children’s Health is seeking an Executive Director, U.S. News & World Report. Children’s Health and the Joint Pediatric Enterprise (JPE) have identified a strategic vision and goal to become a top ten children’s hospital as defined by the annual U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) national rankings. This individual will be responsible for leading the enterprise-wide effort for developing a comprehensive strategy to secure and sustain a top ten USNWR designation and manage all activities associated with the USNWR annual survey. These activities include, but are not limited to, identification and implementation of performance improvement initiatives, strategies, and analytical dashboards to improve our overall score and reputation score, serve as the relationship executive to our USNWR account manager, represent the organization at associated regional and national USNWR conferences, and complete and submit the annual USNWR survey. This individual will manage a small team of individual with backgrounds in nursing, quality, analytics, and project management as well as be responsible for working collaboratively across the system to drive system-wide changes inclusive of leading cross-functional teams that include physician, operational, marketing, nursing, and quality leaders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ Years Leadership experience in healthcare administration.
  • 5+ years USNWR Survey Experience with progressive leadership pertaining to USNWR survey and submission.
  • Proven track record of creating and or implementing comprehensive USNWR performance improvement plans.
  • Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Demonstrated skills working cross-organizationally and directly leading initiatives as well as influencing other leaders. Proven ability working with diverse groups of stakeholders in and around the process of leading change.
  • Ability to analyze and translate complex organizational data into actionable recommendations, strategies, and tactics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with background in Healthcare Administration, Process Improvement, Nursing, Quality or similar.
