Position Overview:

We are proud to be partnering with Piedmont Healthcare to recruit the Executive Director, Oncology Service Line. The Executive Director will be responsible for the development and oversight of the Oncology Service Line across Piedmont Healthcare’s facilities and service areas throughout Georgia. Functioning in a physician dyad relationship, serves as the senior administrative leader for the service line responsible for ensuring a consistent Piedmont Oncology brand and comprehensive, integrated care experience across the organization. Partners with PHC hospital administrators and local oncology operational leaders to develop and execute the system-wide strategy for Oncology that delivers a high quality and consistent care experience, while serving the unique needs of our local communities. Helps grow and maintain a highly aligned and engaged group of quality physicians representing all major cancer disciplines. Responsible for the development and maturation of oncology-focused supportive services, external partnerships and clinical research. Serves as the administrative director for the Oncology Clinical Governance Council.

Qualifications:

Education and Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field.

 Experience

  • Ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional work experience in strategic program development, change management, and/or performance improvement in a healthcare environment, with prior experience in Oncology services required.
  • Post-graduate degree in healthcare or business administration preferred. Strong working knowledge of healthcare industry, ability to think strategically, and experience in business development and growth.
