The Chief Physician Executive is a newly created position responsible for managing all aspects of FHN provider enterprise operations to meet or exceed department, system, and regulatory requirements while ensuring cost-effective, quality patient care for all customers. In addition to provider enterprise operations, the Chief Physician Executive is responsible for the Retail Operations and FHN organizational quality initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, The Chief Physician Executive will design and implement a strategy to maximize the effectiveness of operations while delivering high-quality patient care, improving provider and staff engagement, and optimizing financial performance. In addition, this leader will drive improvements in clinical outcome, quality, cost-effectiveness and efficiency, and patient experience through process improvement, performance metrics benchmarking, care transition coordination, standardization, and clinical informatics.
- MD or DO is required; an advanced degree in healthcare or business and Certified Physician Executive or similar certification is preferred.
- Seven to ten years of progressively responsible strategic planning, business development and communications experience, as a physician leader, in an integrated health system or employed physician group.
- Polished written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated passion for service-oriented patient care.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with and influence providers, leaders, and staff at all levels of the organization while solving challenges with unique solutions.
