Position Overview
Reporting to the CEO, The Chief Equity Officer (CEIO) leads Mercy Medical Group’s overarching goal to be a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization. The CEIO is responsible for developing strategy to eliminate systemic marginalization and inequities in patient care and the organizational structure of Mercy Medical Group. This position requires an inspiring, collaborative, courageous, innovative, and visionary leader with outstanding people and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Board Certified MD or DO, licensed in CA or able to obtain California licensure.
- Completion of a health equity fellowship is preferred.
- Ideally, the CEIO should have prior experience as a leader in diversity efforts in an academic or clinical setting.
