Houston Methodist is seeking a board-certified primary care physician to serve as Medical Director, General Internal Medicine Residency Clinic. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician educator with strong communication and leadership skills. The role offers outstanding growth opportunities in both clinical and educational realms as the institution strives to become a primary care center of excellence. We particularly welcome candidates with interest and experience in quality improvement, curriculum development and scholarship in internal medicine.
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) and active board certification in Internal Medicine
- Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in TX
- At least three years of participation as an active faculty member in an Internal Medicine residency program
- Prior experience as a Medical Director for an Internal Medicine Residency Clinic is preferred
- Effective supervisory skills, including clinical mentoring and coaching
